Quantum computing has been promised as many different things, but without end-users taking an active role in shaping the development of this technology, applied quantum computing may never fully materialize. The narrative of “build it and they will come” has not delivered the transformative impact many hoped for. That’s why AQMCSE is here—to give the quantum practitioner community a dedicated forum to discuss real-world applications and tackle the most pressing challenges in quantum technology together.
AQMCSE 2025 is not just another quantum conference. Unlike many commercial or academic events where the focus is on showcasing results, this event is about the journey—how those results were achieved and what can be learned from the process. We want to address the tips, tricks, and innovations in hybrid classical-quantum computing, where quantum processing units (QPUs) often act as accelerators within larger classical systems.
This is the first conference of its kind that brings together the quantum industry, academia, and computational sciences to focus on applied quantum computing that delivers value across multiple disciplines. Fields like optimization, materials science, machine learning, cryptography, and more stand to benefit from the breakthroughs shared at AQMCSE. We aim to create a platform where participants can exchange ideas about the non-orthodox, creative ways of using quantum devices in hybrid configurations. By pooling expertise from various fields, we can unlock the full potential of quantum technology.
We want to ensure that hardware providers also benefit from this event by understanding what end-users are already doing with various devices and how they can better align their product development roadmaps with real-world expectations.
